This is a fun place to eat. It's 1-2 blocks from M St & 31st. The atmosphere makes it appropriate for families or for friends getting together or a casual business dinner. Our kids (ages 10-16) loved the food, as did we. Lots of interesting flavors and options. It's not a cheap place for family dining ($200 for family of 5 including tip and two alcoholic drinks), but worth it for a special night out. Our waiter was from Thailand and provided good service.

The food is really delicious, fresh and flavorful! While we didn't really push much on the spicy front, because we were with our kids who don't love the hot flavors, the food we had was really delicious! Our server was Thai, and incredibly lovely. She was warm and friendly, and so sweet to the girls and us. She counseled us well about how much food to order so that we wouldn't waste a bunch of food, which is so easy when ordering.

The Bangkok Joes was a highlight of our trip to Georgetown.

Not real thai food folks! It's Thai-American. So some dishes that have angel hair noodles - you're getting italian pasta noodles. Not rice noodles. In the summer, it's super hot and uncomfortable.

The food at this restaurant in really excellent. I had a great Won Ton soup followed by a spectacular Chicken and Cashew nuts. It's in a good location with a taxi rank outside on the Georgetown Waterfront.

If I'm ever in DC I'll definitely return to this restaurant.

the food is definitely authentic and worth going, but i found the service to be a bit disappointing. especially in america, where servers depend on tips, i would expect an attentive and polite service.

our table was covered in drained water, from the over-cooled glasses, but that didn't seem to bother the staff in any way. if a table is practically wet allover, so u can't even put yr sleeve on it, i would expect a service staff member to come by and wipe the table dry.

i found the seating to be pretty uncomfortable too, u get very sweaty on the leather (if it is real leather), not a good choice for a restaurant chair.
