The folks at Jimmie T's make you feel at home instantly and the food will also make you happy you came. The cook and staff here have lots of fans clearly, so we were glad to come mid-morning on a weekday and find a booth available. I suspect if you come twice, they'll know your name and show you to "your" table. My husband had the corned beef hash and fried eggs - she makes the hash overnight in a slow cooker and stirs it up with little roasted red potatoes for your dining delight. Eggs perfectly cooked. I had huevos rancheros (but scrambled) with black beans and a tortilla. Lots of coffee, served cheerily by our very entertaining server. Folks chat back and forth - you feel transported to the good old days (when we didn't watch our cholesterol).
