Love this restaurant and understand why it is so crowded. I really enjoyed my dinner, wine and my waiter was so helpful. It was our waiter's last night working and he was such a delight helping us order the right amount of food and make great choices. In addition it was reasonable pricewise. Can't wait to go back!

This is a small plate Mediterranean restaurant with a very open, airy atmosphere. The four of us shared hommus, tzatziki, Imam Bayildi (roasted eggplant - everybody's favorite), Cerkez (chicken salad), Ottoman Pilaf, Coucous, Hunkar Begendi (braised lamb shank - second favorite), Scallops and for dessert, rose ice cream with chocolate. They were generous with the bread and kept our water glasses filled. Misack was very patient with our indecisiveness when we arrived and provided expert advice.

I ate here by myself on a Friday night after arriving in town for a visit. I ordered the Baba Ganoush, Spanakopita, and one of the lamb dishes. The food was so delicious that I returned the next day to have a lunch with a friend. This will be a place I visit every time I visit DC.

One of My favorite’s Jose Andres tapas restaurants.
I love the Brussels Sprouts and all the Greek dips!
The octopus it is a must!
Service is generally very good.
Drinks are excellent but it may take a little long to get them at the table.
Excellent ambience and outside seating area during summer time.

Reservations were difficult to make since it’s so busy! Delicious food, but very small portions. The restaurant is very loud and crowded, difficult to have a conversation with all the noise. Prices were decent.
