I ate here by myself on a Friday night after arriving in town for a visit. I ordered the Baba Ganoush, Spanakopita, and one of the lamb dishes. The food was so delicious that I returned the next day to have a lunch with a friend. This will be a place I visit every time I visit DC.

One of My favorite’s Jose Andres tapas restaurants.
I love the Brussels Sprouts and all the Greek dips!
The octopus it is a must!
Service is generally very good.
Drinks are excellent but it may take a little long to get them at the table.
Excellent ambience and outside seating area during summer time.

Reservations were difficult to make since it’s so busy! Delicious food, but very small portions. The restaurant is very loud and crowded, difficult to have a conversation with all the noise. Prices were decent.

Zatinya was a great selection while in DC. It is a very busy place and the only down side to the restaurant was the tables outside. They desperately need something to remove the gooey junk that seems to be on all of the tables. You physically stick to the table and its irritating for a restaurant that has such outstanding food. This is strictly for the outside tables as we did not eat inside.

Wow! What a great experience. We had a table of 8 and got a round table in a corner with a lazy Susan to facilitate sharing. I know this is not very helpful, but everything we got truly was great. We started with all of the dips and they kept us well-supplied with warm flatbread to go with it. A favorite among these was the htipiti, a mix of roasted red peppers, feta and thyme. My favorite item was the Fried Halloumi - so good, after sharing the first serving, I ordered another fo myself. Drinks were exceptional, Sidecar to Tangier a particular favorite. Prices were reasonable - they were small plates, so you can control what you spend fairly well. However, if possible, order a lot and share with friends. So amazing!!!
