“Quality Middle Eastern food”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

You get the bread for free and it keeps coming. Fluffy bread that goes with anything like Hummus, etc. The staff is nice but the place is crowded. You definitely need a reservation. There is a open bar which is First come First Serve that you can wait there till your table is ready. The food is good but less quantity. But the price you pay matches the quantity you get. You need to order atleast 2-3 dishes.

“Must Dine Here”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

While in town for a week in DC, I ate here three different times. One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. Loved the small plates, variety, exceptional flavors and healthy options. Great prices, service was exceptional!! Be prepared to make reservations or dine at the bar.

“Restaurant Week Visit”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

I tried this restaurant because they participated in restaurant week. (BTW-best idea ever) I'm unclear on what exactly I ate because none of it was familiar. The dishes were exotic and delicious. Service was good, a little wierd in the beginning. We sat down and were told that we needed to order from the lunch menu. After about 10 minutes, when no one had come by to take our order, the same man came back and took our menus and told us we now had to order dinner. We went for dinner. It seemed odd and unnecessary. After that....no complaints.

“Zaytinya in Washington, DC”
Reviewed November 21, 2012 via mobile

Nice clean modern Greek restaurant....why not give it a shot? Glad we did! Three veterans on Veterans Day wander in and warmly received. Opted to sit at the bar and the helpful bartender lead us down the Greek culinary highway. We tried just about everything that she recommended and was very pleased, some things better than others, but that will happen anywhere. Great fun eating experience!
