“Need to write about a superlatively great meal”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

I travel a lot for business, and am privileged enough to eat in great restaurants, but last Thursday had one of the most memorable meals ever at Tosca. The main course was a freshly grilled Dover Sole, boned at the table, simply grilled with salt, pepper and a touch of olive oil. Absolutely the best plate of fish I have ever eaten anywhere. Thank you Tosca.

It was date night with Mrs RM, and we both commented on what a wonderful environment Tosca's dining room can be: subdued conversation, crack service, starched white table cloth. The dining experience at Tosca is an Armani suit: refined, subtle, nothing glaring, but of such superlative quality you realize you are being wowed. When a meal is that memorable, and the experience becomes almost a vacation from the ordinary, you know you have seen value and greatness in a restaurant.

Thank you Tosca from a jaded traveler.

“The best pasta. ”
Reviewed October 29, 2013 via mobile

I had dinner here for business. I was very pleased Here is what I liked;
1) beautiful decor.
2) great location
3) nice wine menu with a lot of choices
4) excellent pasta
5) great food menu with different choices. Pasta , chicken , fish and meats.

The only negative is that it's a little pricy comparatively.

“Fantastic meal!”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

This was an absolutely fantastic meal! We had the tasting menu and every course brought different flavors of the most exquisitely prepared food. The service was perfect, wine pairings perfect. It was one of the most wonderful meals we have ever had.

“Really Top-Notch Restaurant”
Reviewed October 20, 2013 via mobile

This place is sensational. Our party of 6 ordered a wide variety of salads, pastas, and desserts, and everyone was delighted. The arugula salad, with small bits of grilled octopus, was really nice. The prosciutto platter was also wonderful. For the entrees, we had pappardelle with rabbit, duck ravioli, and gnocchi. All were fresh, tasty, and perfectly prepared.

The atmosphere is sophisticated and upscale, as you would expect. This place is not cheap, but I think we got what we paid for.

The service was impeccable: friendly but respectful. The waiter was readily available, but he didn't hover over us.

Tosca's wine list is extensive, and is probably 80% Italian. The wine prices are high, but not exorbitant.

I suggest that you have high expectations for an evening at Tosca. We did, and we certainly were not disappointed.

“Wonderful Classic Italian”
Reviewed October 19, 2013 via mobile

Had a wonderful lunch at Tosca and I can't wait to go back. I loved the black ink tagliatelle with jumbo lump crab meat, olive oil poached artichokes, roasted garlic and Calabria peppers...it's very delicate and it melts in your mouth. My friend and I shared the pumpkin panna cotta, which was a perfect ending to a truly wonderful meal. The service was also very good.
