Mediocre ambiance, but good, a bit heavy food and great wine accompanied by decent service.
It was a family dinner and we were 9 people. We all have ordered 4 course menu and I was satisfied with the pace of the delivery as well as the taste and display.
I understand adding the tip in the check since we were close to 10 people, but 20% adding by this scale of restaurant was not right. They did not ask how the service was, they just assumed. In this case the staff actually lost money just because the family member who picked up the check could have tipped over 25%!
My 2 cents to the management, if a patron is ordering expensive wines just don’t add the tip. It does not make the establishment look good.
Regardless, we had a nice evening.
