We were visiting the area for a long weekend and walked by this restaurant just at their Happy Hour...........great luck! And we were even more fortunate to get a table on their patio area......not easy to do as there was a home baseball game scheduled for that afternoon.

Our server, LaTricia, made our late lunch really enjoyable. She was attentive to our needs, but it was her friendliness that really made an impression on us. We both loved the Margherita Flatbread Pizzas that we ordered.........flavorful and, because of their Happy Hour, the price was even reduced. While we were there, we saw many good-looking burgers being delivered to other patrons, so we decided to return the next afternoon for another late lunch just to try them.

So the next day, we requested LaTricia as our server again, as we had seen her when we approached the restaurant. We had a 30-minute wait for our table (another home baseball game)......no problem, as we wanted to eat on the patio area again. Bad news is that we had did not have her as a server and the burgers were not nearly as good-tasting as they looked (although the Garlic Fries are to die for!)

We would recommend this place, though. Just be sure to get there early if there is a home baseball game as the stadium is a few blocks away from GB, so this place fills up quickly!

We stumbled across this place by chance and it turned out to be a great evening ! Happy Hour had started shortly before we arrived which our waitress let us know. This allowed us a chance to try different drinks at a much more attractive price. We more or less chose nibbles (as we'd not eaten all day), but asked our waitress what she would recommend. Since her recommendations were exactly what we'd chosen, we went ahead. And we were not disappointed, the appetizers were copious, the drinks were great - the only thing missing was a dance floor....
I'd never been to a Gorden Biersch before and I loved the fact that they did not make us feel like we needed to finish and leave or get a table for dinner...just very relaxed. It gave us a chance to chat, laugh and just wind down after a long day.

The only negative aspect was when the waitress started to push their card on us - none of us appreciated that nor did we understand the change from being very attentive to being too pushy.

The staff was very accommodating in allowing us to order happy hour from a table as we had our 7 year old with us. Had a burger and it was great for $6. All their beers are very good. Service is always good as well. My wife had the slider platter at happy hour pricing and it was a bargain. Will return when we visit again.

We had a late lunch here, and the food was good, and service was great; pleasant wait staff, and we had the table for as long as we needed, no one rushed us out. This is not a cheap date, but it's a place with good atmosphere, and the food is what you would expect from a Gordon Biersch brewery.

Yes, I really only wanted a little something to tide me over until dinner but the teeny piece of meat in each bun had been butterflied to appear larger. Very sad. Had to put BOTH pieces of meat into a single bun and still had a sad little slider. They might be better off if the buns were even smaller so the teeny tiny wagyu would look bigger relatively speaking. Hardly worth the price. The two pieces of wagyu were about the size of a Godiva truffle. Black bean soup looked WAY better than wagyu sliders at half the price. Was there for lunch; not to buy the place. Wouldn't return;could not recommend. Sorry
