I do not recommend this restaurant for brunch. The service was very slow, despite the restaurant being almost empty. The brunch options were limited with little opportunity to sub-in food if you have a food allergy or intolerance. Steak and eggs was uninspiring. Coffee was ok. Outdoor seating is great, and the ambience is romantic - the restaurant's saving grace.

We received a two for one discount coupon so decided to try the Paper Moon. Would have been better to pay full price and go elsewhere! I ordered the Veal Marsala--the accompanying pasta was with a tomato sauce dumped on the mixed with the overly gooey sweel Marsala sauce. The veal was so sinewy that less than half of eat could be cut and chewed.
Worst of all was the uninterested waiter--forgot the drinks. Then when he presented the bill explained in great detail that his tip was to be based on the full price and not the discounted one--even printed both out to explain it. Rude.

Went last night as part of a group. We waited 1hr and 30 mins for one course. The food was not hot when it arrived and there wasn't much of it. Service was not good and the worse thing is they add the tip onto your bill. We would have not given a tip obviously that is why they include it.

The service and food was abismal. Four of us went to Georgetown on a Saturday night for dinner. After hearing that one member of our party had a self-proclaimed "pedestrian palette" we decided to go for something simple, like Italian food. We went to paper moon and had a quick wait before being seated. Unfortunately, upon being seated, we weren't given menus or silverware.

Our waiter was RUDE throughout the course of the night. He did not have answers to our questions about the menu and even rolled his eyes at us at one point. The food (shrimp scampi, pizzas, and salmon pasta) was flavorless and not worth the price by any stretch of the imagination. The wine was mediocre at best and served too warm (red).

My friend--for the first time in her life--contemplated leaving no tip whatsoever. In the end, she settled for giving 10%, which might have even been too generous.

The service was awful, after 30 minutes we still had to order drinks, the waiter forgot to ask and was upset when we reminded him. Bread wasn't given until we asked for. We didn't want to give any tips of course but the gratuity was included in the check. At least the food was very good, the filet mignon excellent
