My wife and I visited Tono Sushi after a day of exploring Washington D.C. We visited early in the evening (around 5:30) and were greeted promptly and seated immediately in the downstairs room with the sushi bar. The restaurant was not crowded, but I am thinking that it was due to us coming at such an early time. My wife and I shared the spring rolls, and they were delicious. We also had two California Rolls with real crab and a Manhattan Roll. Additionally, I ordered a variety of raw items from the Happy Hour special ($1 a piece). The rolls were very good, and the raw sushi was fresh and delicious. The service was also attentive. Since we were headed to a baseball game, we were dressed casually and felt welcomed. I imagine that they get busier later in the evening!
