We eat sushi on average 1-2 times a week both at home and at restaurants. When we visited DC in June we ate here.
This place was packed! People were lined up halfway up the stairs to get in. We waited our half hour to get a table and 30 minutes for our sushi. I would recommend getting appetizers to tide you over.
The sushi arrived and was beautifully arranged, even with branded Japenese symbols on the tamago! The sushi and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
If you are single or a couple, I would recommend that you eat at the sushi bar, as this is much faster. It looked like the people at the bar were seated immediately while we were in line.
