We stayed at the DuPont Circle Hotel which was within walking distance of this restaurant. Unfortunately I misread our map and turned a simple walk into a long one. Finally ariving across the street from where the restaurant was supposed to be, all I could see was a big Rite Aid on the corner. Fortunately, my wife saw a flag with the word "Taro" on it at the rear of the drug store. We went to it, saw steps, and went up them. The restaurant was on top of the drug store! The sushi was very good. The Japanese gentleman who served us was even better, friendly yet so dignified. We were seated next to a window and were entertained by people hurrying by below from work and school and especially by people walking their dogs. Satisfied and refreshed, the walk back to the hotel on the right street was much shorter!
