Description: After almost 30 years, we are still so proud to be one of DC's extraordinary establishments and the Sequoia you know and love. The newly renovated beloved restaurant is located in the Washington Harbour on the Georgetown Waterfront, right along the banks of the Potomac River in Washington, DC. The vast floor-to-ceiling windows offer magnificent views, and our interior design is just as amazing as our surroundings! The entire restaurant is filled with contemporary art featuring Hitoshi Kuriyama's neon glass tube light installation along the ceiling and Arne Quinze's grand colorful sculpture named Scarlet in the garden as well as several other art installations throughout. We also offer incredible options for Private Events & Catering! So please come back to enjoy yourself again and revel in some of the finest cuisine & cocktails DC has to offer, while soaking up some of the best views in the city right on the water in Georgetown.

What a lovely restaurant. Last time I visited was for a student's graduation party in 1993. It is a magical place.
This time we sat outside. Staff was accommodating to our seating caprice. "No here," "no there", "what about over there"? My date had the sea bass (I stole a bite) -delicious. I had oysters -tasty morsels and crab salad. Wine selection was excellent. Key lime pie was overthetop sweet, but it always is, regardless of the restaurant.
Great place to take that special someone. Finish with a riverside walk après le diner.

Can not beat the location, the service or the drinks (food is good but not great). Happy hour and sunset over the Potomac are unbelievable (amazing). Good crowd and bartenders (look for Vartin, 6' tall bartender with a two day old beard for the best mojito in DC.

Saturday nite dinner was excellent - and reasonably priced. Great charcuterie to start; I had Duo Crab Cakes - couldn't finish them (too much ); wife had a Fisherman's Bowl which she enjoyed. Great view inside and outside. We were inside. Many birthday celebrations (cool sparkler brought to your table) Walking distance to the Kennedy Center.

We spent a day in Georgetown and had a very late lunch here. Our waitress ( from Duluth ) was excellent and gave just the right amount of attention. Food was superb - particularly the Tuna. View wonderful. All in all a very positive experience!
