This restaurant is part of the Willard Hotel. If you're looking for atmosphere this spot has it covered--literally walls covered with photos and paintings of famous Americans, most are politicians from the past 100 years or so...fun to try and name them. The food was quite good but also very expensive. Overall a pleasant dinner.

We went for dinner with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. Our server Winston(?) was a great help and guided us through the menu to some great picks.

I started with the lobster wedge salad which was incredibly good. The lobster was cooked perfectly. My son had the squash bisque and said it was nice and creamy. The bread was very good, great taste, warm and SOFT. I had the pork chop, cooked just right, really yummy. My son had a steak and said it was cooked perfectly. We had scrumptious mashed potatoes, green beans and asparagus. It was a wonderful meal, great service, very nice.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great but the bread was so hard a knife would not cut it and you could barely tear it apart. We all had a combination of shrimp poor boy, braised short rib and slow roasted pork loin. Everything tasted great but PLEASE work on the hardness of the bread. Corn bread was excellent. Waitstaff could have been a little more speedy. Over all a nice place to eat and close to the monuments.
