Bombay was a great stop for a lunch with a colleague. The prices are a bit high, and I think you are paying more for the atmosphere than the food. The food was tasty, however nothing you wouldn't be able to get at an Indian restaurant with lower prices. Service was good. They have a coat check and take lunch reservations.

Very elegant decor, white tablecloths and dressy atmosphere. Great place for a business dinner, if your guest likes Indian food. The food is also excellent, with a primarily seafood theme.

I wrote a bad review of Bombay club about 18 months ago. And did they deserve it. Tired food, snotty attitude, and high prices. Came back with friends reluctantly last week and was floored by the improvements in every area. The decor and ambience appear to have been lightened a bit while maintaining a very upscale feel. The food is where the real improvement is. Clearly they're drawing on sister restaurant rasika's menu. The paneer kebab, the duck curry, the chicken mankhanwala are all heads and shoulders above anything in the city. The kale salad appetizer is a classic and just delicious. The service was perfect: gracious friendly and attentive. A five star experience.

Always a great treat, the Bombay Club continues to provide exquisite Indian cuisine in a beautiful setting. The service complements the meal -- attentive to detail without being intrusive or overbearing.

Went there for my birthday dinner. The highlight was the wonderful melody of Happy Birthday played by the pianist. Food was very good. Atmosphere was excellent. There is a classy, modern feel to the place. I would certainly recommend it for a nice evening complimented by Indian food.
