This is one of the best Indian restaurants we've found outside the subcontinent. They will try to appeal to the non-initiated, so tell the waiter that you really like spicy, and insist that they bring you hot sauce in addition to what is already in the dishes (and get pickles, raita, of course). But perhaps even more than the food, what you get here is old-world service, with well-trained waiters. Pricy, maybe but an excellent night out. If you have guests, the "cobra coffee" is a great conversation piece.
