I came here as part of a group for a business function which may colour my views but as we were sat in a modern office block atrium it didn't really seem in keeping with the the overall theme. Service was ok and the food - steak - routine without being exceptional. The overall experience though is of a very dark and crowded restaurant full of tourists.

Our family decided to eat lunch here on the recommendation of our hotel's concierge. We're so glad we did! The service was excellent, the building was beautiful, and the food was fantastic! We tried a variety of dishes, and all of them were wonderful. We had the Crab Cakes, Fried Oyster Po' Boy, and Cannelloni di Casa. Everything was so fresh and delicious. It was a bit pricey, but everything is in DC! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the city.

This is a great traditional DC restaurant with a good vibe. It was very busy, but we were seated soon after arriving for our reservation (Open Table got us a reservation - we called first and were told they had nothing). Service was friendly and perfectly timed. The food was good, but not exceptional. It was the experience, not the food that appealed.

This place had a relaxed atmosphere for being so close to the White House (it really does feel like an East Coast place, there are flying geese replicas hanging from the ceiling!). The deviled eggs are good and the portions are pretty big. The prices are reasonable for the portions you get. I would go back here next time I am in D.C.!
