This is terrible Starbucks. A better choice is the one at Washington Harbor, on K St. This one is well-located, on M St. in the heart of Georgetown. But it's crowded, with long lines in the morning. There are just a couple of tables downstairs, some additional seating upstairs, nowhere attractive enough for just hanging out. The service is usually perfunctory. The facility just seems run-down.
All Starbucks serve the same menu, so if you like their coffee and snacks (which I really do) you probably will like their food at any location. What differentiates each Starbucks venue for me is the service and atmosphere. (Note that I drop one star from all Starbucks ratings because they have devalued their loyalty card program so badly. This is not a store-specific issue, although in this case I would have given only one star anyway.)
