Staff was great and hotel was very clean. The hotel was very nice and probably will be great when it is complete. However, we were going to use the laundry room, and there was none there. It was not completed. Also, the pool was freezing, and did not include the hot tub or spa that was advertised. The first ice machine we went to on the 7th floor was broken. The hook on the back of our door turned around so the towels fell right on the floor. The hot water handle on the sink kept coming off. Looks like the hotel was rushed to be completed.

It was a hampton. we booked on line and got a great deal to offset the parking rate. The staff was warm and friendly, however the breakfast staff on Saturday was not enough for a full hotel. Although they were extremely friendly they could not keep up with the volume. The hotel is supposedly only 1.3 miles from Holocaust museum it felt longer? Overall clean, centrally located and again a Hampton. Plan dinners ahead of time and get tickets for Holocaust museum before you go. Bring shoes to walk 5 plus miles a day! Really walked 12 miles one day!

Room Tip: Our room was on the tenth floor clean quiet even though close to elevator

We only stayed one night in DC and wanted to be somewhere close to all the main attractions but not overpay either. I was very pleased with the reasonable price and also that we were within walking distance to everything. Right from check-in the hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for restaurants. The rooms were very clean and have free wi-fi. Good complimentary breakfast in the morning. Even upon checkout the staff made recommendations on where to visit on our way out of town. Thanks to Joe and Diane at the front desk for being so helpful! We will definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice, new hotel. The management needs to work on a lot of glitches if the want to keep getting good reports. Even though it is new, a lot of the glitches were from poor training and poor management. I would try it again

Yes, we are HitlonHonors members and we do try to stay in a Hilton property hotel whenever we travel, but this hotel is to be commended to everyone for the service it provides. We checked in on June 24th for 4 nights and were given a room on the 11th floor. Within 5 minutes of being in the room, we noticed a very loud noise right outside the window. It was a large fan attached to the building next door and even with the A/C on, we felt the room would have been too noisy for us. We were given a room on the 7th floor which was not near the outside fan, and was much quieter, even though our room faced the front.
Friendly employees, decent breakfast (Starbucks right next door if you want a good cup of coffee, the coffee at the breakfast tasted watered down, not much flavor). A nice touch was the chilled drinking water and warm chocolate chip cookies at the check in desk served in the afternoon. So refreshing after a long day of sightseeing! The only (minor) complaint I have is the lack of a small refridgerator in the rooms to keep beverages cold. Otherwise, I can't find any faults with this nice hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms located in the back tend to be noisy.

This hotel is brand new. Rooms are clean and comfy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Complimentary coffee and breakfast. Location is prime. Short walk to White House and Farragut North and Farragut West metro stations. Good price. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room on a higher level floor to avoid street noise.

We recently spent three nights at the Hampton Inn, White House, in Washington. This very recently converted hotel, was well done up and very comfortable and clean.
We were able to easily walk from the hotel to all the major things we wanted to look at close by including the White House, which was really just around the corner, Capital Hill and some great restaurants.
The service we received from the staff, was very good, both on arrival and checking in and with parking our car, and advice on where to go. I would like to add a very special thank you to Lamal, who helped me out in the middle of the night with printing out some important business documents and getting them scanned and sent off to Australia. When we couldn't get the fax to go through, he helped me by scanning the document onto his mobile and emailing it through to me to forward on. His can do attitude and helpfulness at 2.30am in the morning was very much appreciated by myself.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that although we did check it out, it seemed pretty basic.
It was necessary to keep the air conditioner on during the night as it was pretty hot and humid however there is one setting for the fan, which was high so it was pretty noisy. Also there was no where to easily store our suitcase in our room although our friends room was a little larger and had that facility.
I would recommend this hotel in Washington.

Room Tip: Choose a room towards the front of the hotel.
