This restaurant is located on the Washington waterfront with a great view. The food is farm to table. We had the corn chowder, shrimp scampi, mussels, fish tacos and fried white fish. All of our meals were prepared perfectly and delicious. The portions were pretty large. The service was very good and the price surprising for such a location and food of such high quality. We highly recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting or living in DC.

I really wanted to love this place and I was impressed with the location, view and recycled elements used for decor. I love the green movement and focus on less carbon footprinting in food industry. However, the fried scallops were tasteless and service mediocre. My husband loved the great beer selection. I want to try the sister restaurant Founding Farmers next time which most everyone raves about.

Took at friend from out of town here. It's in a nice location..Service was okay. The food was good, but nothing that I am still thinking about a day later. Definitely call and make reservations. I think if you do you will get better seating. We got there about 6:30pm on a Tuesday night and it was about 1/2 empty, but by the time we left the place was HOPPING. I had the Fried Shrimp and they were huge! Tasty...lots of breading though. The side of corn was delish. The extra "$" in the "$$$" is definitely for the location.

We went for the brunch on Sunday morning. Most of the food was great. Cinnamon buns were the best, make sure to get one. Beautiful presentation. The service was mediocore. We had to ask to have our plates cleared between course several times. Hot tea and decaf coffee are not included in the $30, only hot regular coffee.
