the food was superb. The many flavors blended wonderfully. We had a Nebbiola wine that was light and went well with the food; and the cardamon ice cream is a must

“Rasika West End is good but doesn't have the magic of the Original Rasika”
Reviewed November 30, 2012 via mobile

Rasika West End is good, but it doesn't quite capture the original Rasika's magic, perhaps as it tries to be less Indian and more mainstream. Case in point: the lamb cutlet appetizer came out on a bun, looking like a burger. The basics like chicken tikka masala and palak chaat were the best things we had (and the most like the original Rasika). There's no tasting menu, either, but if you ask your wait staff he or she will build one to match your preferences.

“Terrific Meal”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

After trying Rasika last month, we were anxious to visit its west end neighbor and it did not disappoint. The Squash somosas are amazing as was the swordfish appetizer and the lentils. Everything we had was delicious. We can't wait to go back and try more and different things.

“Non-traditional Thanksgiving Feast”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

The turkey "special" was outstanding and the service, excellent. We plan to return when the weather will permit outdoor dining.

“rushed thru a new years date dinner”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

it was indian new years and mom said to go out for indian food! So, what better way than to have your date take you. Tried the original location years ago and was not impressed by bad service and attitude. If there is one thing I cannot stand more, it is attitude given to indian patrons by indian restaurant workers. But, I was willing to try the new location out. Cool, lounge like decor, dark and shiny. As I have heard before, the prices seem to be paying for the interior decorating rather than the quality of food. Lamb biryani was ok, kind of bland, but portion size was decent. Date had some lamb app and we shared the entree. Now, the fact that we felt rushed is the real problem. The dining room was not even full and the server kept insisting that we adhere to the fact that they had told us the table was only free until 730. I do not care what they said, if you have served food to a guest, and they are still eating that food, and have paid for it, you should not pester them more than once. The fact that we were asked if we were done or if they could take our food away more than once is why I will not be supporting this restaurant again. On my new year's for crying out loud! This is bad for their karma.
