While in DC on vacation we made FCC a regular coffee stop on our way to the Metro a number of mornings. They offered a good selection of coffees, lattes, expressos, teas, etc. Since it was hot & humid outside their iced lattes hit the spot. There were huge muffins and apple fritters the size of baseball mitts in the pastry case. The menu board had a variety of breakfast platters, burritos, stratas and sandwiches, even vegan breakfast burritos. The lunch board listed about 20 different sandwich and wraps combinations. Since we only got the lattes at FCC, I didn't rate their food.
Outside seating consisted of 1 small table and 2 chairs and there was not much seating up front in the small grill area so I was surprised to find a large back room with several tables, chairs & stools to sit/dine at, a flat screen, WiFi and several shelves of books.
