After a looooong day of hitting up Smithsonian museums and walking all the way to the Lincoln Memorial and back, we were starved. We figured we'd walk back towards the hotel and just find something to eat, but we didn't want to have to do a pricey sit down restaurant with table service nor do something crappy like McDonalds either.
We saw the taco sign as we were walking and the inside looked colorful and casual so we said allright, let's try it out. We got some tacos and a burrito, which were authentically delicious and reasonably priced. You order it at a counter and then they'll bring it to your table. They had a salsa bar too where you could fill up little cups of whatever extras you wanted. And the soda dispenser had specialty sodas of cane sugar, not your typical Coke or Pepsi lineup...really delicious. The staff was very friendly too.
It was the perfect meal after a long, exhaustive day of sightseeing. We'll definitely go back next time we're in town, as it was a big hearty meal that replenished our touristing energy without us feeling all greasy and weighed down.
