My grandmother came to visit me in Adams Morgan a couple months ago. I could not get a room in the hylton but was glad she stayed at the Bridge. No pool, no children, no fuss, and far enough away from 18th street to be quite. It was prefect for her. She was so happy, that the next time she visits she will only stay at the Bridge inn. They even set up a day trip to see museums while I was at work.

If you are going spend the money to be in North West, spend a couple extra bucks and stay someplace special.

The warm accommodations, friendly staff and prime location of this DC B&B put it in a class of its own and quite simply make it a home away from home! I've stayed here in the past for business, but recently had the opportunity to return and enjoy a two week vacation. The interior is classically appointed and each of the rooms are tastefully decorated. Jennifer is a wonderful and delightful host that goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is smooth and seamless. A short, 5-10 minute walk puts you into the heart of either Dupont and Adams Morgan neighborhoods and provides limitless options for cafes, restaurants, bars and entertainment; despite this fantastic proximity, the Taft Bridge Inn sits in a quiet oasis off the main roads. Very highly recommended for business or vacation stays!

Spent a couple of nights here during a business trip to DC in early November. The place is very nice...having a nively furnished room that actually has some character felt great! This is a far better experience than stying in some impersonal hotel. Dupont Circle and all of those great restaurants there are an easy walk away, as is the Metro station to take you to wherever you might need to go in DC. No doubt that Taft Bridge Inn will be my first choice when I come back....

Last July I spent four days in this very cosy and peculiar place and I must say that among the many, many Hotels and B&B's I have stayed in my life, this is definitely one I will always remember. The whole style of the house is just great and despite being "vintage", everything is super clean. Jennifer is a fantastic host, she is a great cook - I never had such great breakfasts as here.
The area is just great, lots of parks and wonderful streets with amazing houses, an area where one feels safe, even after midnight. The proximity to Dupont Circle is very handy for any trip within DC. Apart from that it's a very quiet place. If I ever travel to DC again, I will definitely stay at the Taftbridge Inn. Great and authentic people!

Great place that has almost as much character as the people taking care of you. Great b&b. great people. I loved my stay. Breakfast was gat and when I was there I was in town interviewing for jobs. The staff were helpful and personable during a high stress time. Not fake like at a big hotel. Genuine people.
