“Long wait, good for seafood lovers.”
Reviewed March 9, 2013 via mobile

I came on a Saturday night with a very long, hour and a half wait. We ordered "The Drool" which was more than enough food for three. The food, especially the crab legs, was goof but not good for someone who is not much of a seafood person, like me.

“Great food, fun experience, can't wait to return!”
Reviewed March 7, 2013 via mobile

We always try to go here when in DC. You can get the food in different levels of spicy to suit your own taste and it's just plain fun to eat with your hands and make a mess. The shrimp, lobster, and crab were all good, the crawfish not worth the work for the minimal amount of meat. Cajun fries were good, corn fritters EXCELLENT and the étouffée AWFUL TERRIBLE. Almost think the night we were there someone forgot some of the ingredients in the étouffée as it consisted entirely of the 'holy trinity' of chopped onion, green bell pepper and celery, raw-tasting spices and not much more. Great place otherwise (just don't order the étouffée) and the staff is helpful, pleasant, and attentive. Can't wait to go back!!

“Hot and good”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

We were in the DC area and stopped by for dinner. It was both hot and juicy. I would cut back a little on the garlic. We tried the wings, crawfish and shrimp. Got the rice and rolls to soak up the juicy part and the étouffée. By far, the étouffée was the best. The garlic in the sauce was still with me the next morning. It was really loud and a little hard to carry on a conversation.

“Great creole restaurant with even better atmosphere”
Reviewed January 31, 2013 via mobile

Ate here by myself at dinner. The atmosphere is casual, laid back and warm/friendly. I got the wet your feet special that had shrimp, crawfish, andouille sausage, corn and potato - easily enough for 2. Being from gulf coast state, I have eaten very good and fresh crawfish. Crawfish were ok, but everything else was superb!!! Would def eat here again and hope to bring my husband!

The food was sooo good! Great cajun/creole food. Crawfish, shrimp, crab legs. Spicy, just enough and really tasty. Mon-Wed.$1 beer. Great patio for people watching.
