Wonderful food and relaxed, casual atmosphere. Service was enthusiastic but just 'meh', as we had to request then remind our server for drink refills, beer, etc. We ordered the Drool Bucket but decided afterwards it's best to order shrimp and crab only as there is so little to the crawfish and what meat was contained in the teeny-tiny little tails was (cringe) mushy and yuck. The shrimp and crab more than made up for it though, and the bucket also had andouille sausage, potato and corn on the cob. We ordered medium spicy and it was just the right amount of sweet/hot. Great happy hour Monday thru Wednesday, we noticed. Definitely recommend the place!

During the week they have great prices on drinks for the first three and its any time of day so you don't have to try and get there before happy hour is over.

Who can resist the name of this restaurant? While a couple of the business people in our party of 5 expressed some reluctance to submitting a receipt from "Hot 'n Juicy" for fear of questioning by company auditors, others said it was a dining experience not to be missed. After donning our protective bibs, we greedily dove into the servings of marinated shrimp, snow crab, and King Crab legs. Our waitress queried us on our preferences for spices and heat intensity, so our food was prepared to our taste profiles. The landlubber in our group made do with fried zucchini, sweet potato fries, and chicken tenders, but the seafood is definitely the star at this restaurant. The "manly" men in our group enjoyed digging in, getting their hands messy with crab leg cracking, and chucking the shells into the buckets placed on the table for that purpose. Eating with one's hands is the only way to go here, so it's best to be dressed comfortably. The seafood was delicious; service was knowledgeable and attentive; ambience was reminiscent of rustic fish joints at the beach. A fun and memorable meal in a setting that makes you forget that you're in a big city. Wish a "Hot 'n Juicy" would open in Atlanta!

Here is the menu: http://hotnjuicycrawfish.com/?page_id=32

This is one of the best restaurants in the area and is not too far from the National Zoo. you can order a variety of food options, to include baskets of shrimp, chicken and fish, various sandwiches, and, of course, seafood by the pound! Your options include, but are not limited to shrimp, crawfish, lobster, Maryland blue crab, oysters, mussels, clams, dungeness and snow crab legs. They are all sold at market price and cooked to perfection. You can also add extras like corn, sausage and potatoes to your meal. there are various seasonings and various spice levels. The mild juicy Cajun seasoning has a little bit of a kick to it. It is a little hot. The menu is so delectable and simple. You can mix and match any combinations to create your perfect meal.

The staff in the DC area were very lively, energetic and enthusiastic. They made the entire experience fun for us. They put plastic bibs on us to protect our clothes, as you eat everything with your hands. However, if you want silverware, they will give it to you. Also, the food comes in plastic bags and are drenched in amazing seasonings so you can dip your crab legs and crawfish and lobster back in the seasonings so the food isn't dry, but mouthwatering and juicy.

Whether you are eating outside in front of the restaurant or inside it, you'll have an unforgettable party at dinnertime.

I highly recommend this place. It is absolutely amazing!
