Zero points for ambience, seating, sizzle...HOWEVER, Luke and his mates provide (in their own manic but matter-of-fact way) one helluva meal. The photo of lobster or crab in a warm and toasty bun with a bag of chips and a Peak Organic IPA is just what you get for $20. Too much? I think not. There's a lot of real big chunks of lobster in the roll I purchased with a tasty Winter Ale. I'll stack that up against the processed, cheeselike-substance nachos and overpriced euro-Bud beer at the Verizon Center any day. As a NYer who grew up in the land of super-Delis, I can also say that the accompanying pickle spear was the perfect crispy palate refresher and compliment to the lobster. Yeah, the lobster meat is cold, but tastes great in the warm bun. Great beer choices and plenty of potato chip options as well...though I highly recommend the jalapeno chips with a lobster roll and your choice of beers. You can get a great meal and walk out the door in ten minutes, or chill out, watch the world go by and even pick up a t-shirt. Either way, Luke has kept it simple, but delivers what counts!
