Stayed two nights and the hotel was nice. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms, but there was no tub in our room and the shower was small. The hotel is close to the zoo and on the metro line. Many, many, nice restaurants in the area. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Old Wardman Tower and it was quiet except when our neighbors came in.

I recently stayed here for a conference. I was located in the older Wardman Tower which was lovely. The chandelier lined corridor to link the older tower to the hotel leads you to a quieter location. The room was large and comfortable, cleaned every day. The location is excellent, the subway is at the end of the drive and there are several very good restaurants just over the road. The zoo and cathedral are within walking distance and the open top bus tours and trolley tours stop within 5 minutes of the hotel. My room was very quiet so I think the Wardman Tower must be the quieter part after reading other reviews. Would highly recommend it for a stay in Washington.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the Wardman Tower if you prefer a little history and a quieter area.

We found this hotel via Priceline , wasn't sure what to expect. Our room was nice remodeled in the older Wardman tower , don't be filled by the older lobby. It's quieter on the other side. Subway entrance was close and two great restaurants in the neighborhood.

I just completed a stay here for a business trip and I have mixed feelings about the hotel. While the Marriott standards are present, there were a few things that bothered me. The biggest was the noisiness of the hallways in the center tower. It felt as if the other guests were entering our room all the time. Also the housekeeping closet right across the hall kept banging open all night. The lines at the front desk were always long, but the reps working the desk were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is located in a perfect location. There are many delicious restaurants just outside the hotel. The metro stop is right there as well and provides amazing access to the rest of Washington, D.C. For $300 a night you expect more from Marriott however and I'm not too sure I would pay to stay here again soon.

This was the second time we've stayed here for a convention. About a 20 minute ride from Regan airport. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, and the zoo is about a 10 minute walk away.
