Reviewed October 3, 2012

Loved the interior, the decor inside was incredible, well worth a trip to go and see, very easy to get to on the Metro.

“Fantastic Shrine”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

It is a European Cathedral in DC. A visit, with docents, is great and we worshio there every month. YOu need to visit the ground floor to appreciate the effort that has gone into it.

“Beautiful Church”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Attended Mass her for my daughter's birthday while on vacation. The pipe organ was so beautiful sounding! The different alters and alcoves have amazing artwork.

Visit just to see a sacred museum of art. But please be reverent, it's an active church and people are praying.

“Reminds me of St. Patricks in NY”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Beautiful basilica, on par with St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC. Don't miss touring the lower level to see the beautiful crypt chapel and all the other small chapels. A very inspiring place! We rode the Metro to it and found it very convenient and definitely worth the trip.

“unique cathedral”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

This cathedral( though out of the immediate DC area) is worth the trip. Don't miss attending one of the many mMasses offered. The gift shop is large and many unique items found.
