Highly recommend Fat Tire bike tours! 5 star, must go! My 16yo son and I had been to many of the DC monuments and museums and we were looking for something different for the afternoon. This bike tour was a great overview of DC, and our guide Luke was extremely informed and highly entertaining. He provided all kinds of fun facts and trivia tidbits about historical events and political personalities. Places visited but not all: Old Eisenhower Office, Blair House, PA Ave, White House, Lafayette Square, National Archives, Navy Memorial, Capitol, National Mall, Smithsonian Bldgs, Washington Monument, Old Post Office, African American Museum, Korean War monument, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, WW2 Memorial, Reflecting pool and FBI. On the way back to their office you ride up a short hill by the State Dept. The bike ride itself is easy to moderate: there are many stops, bathroom break and they provide water and sunscreen. I wore flip flops and was fine, but preferred tennis shoes. There are a ton of photo ops and the tour runs on time so we took tons of pics, but did not linger so we could see everything. Overall it was an amazing experience!

We had 3 hours in town to see all of DC quickly. Fat Tire Tours made our visit exceptional. While we have lots of experience with Segway tours elsewhere, I can say that this one is a truly exceptional value. The guide was very nice, the equipment was excellent, and the office staff was outstanding at helping us navigate our way to their location as we were cutting our time very tight. We took the National Mall tour! Just perfect!

Great tour with Tom. In 3hrs we saw all the important and interesting buildings, monuments and museums in Washington. Tom was well informed of Washington history and it was a great tour to orient yourself in Washington

We took the Monument Tour. Our guide was Cynthia and she was excellent. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and personable. We were late for our scheduled tour and thry accommodated us on a later tour despite the busy day! I recommend this Segway company to anyone and will do it again when I return to DC!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our sunny 3hrs cycling around Washington DC’s notable sights. Jack, our guide, imparted information at each stop where we had ample time to have a closer look & take photos while he minded the bikes.
The initial meeting place is well set up with drinks, clean toilets & sunblock available.
Jack made sure that each person had the appropriate sized bike & helmet and helped adjust where needed.
This was a great way to see and orient ourselves with places that we had only seen on the screen.
