A larger than life statue..our tour guide mentioned it was good luck to rub Einstein's nose and it was very shiny when I saw it. A lot of people sat on the statue for photos. It was a beautiful statue of a beautiful mind.

“Worth A Quick Side Trip”

The Einstein Memorial is just across the street from the mall at the National Academy Of Sciences. A nice break from wars and presidents! Really enjoyed one of the quote that, "The right to search for truth implies also a duty; one must not conceal any part of what one has recognized to be true."

“A peaceful place in the middle of such a big city!”

After fighting crowds of people to see so many memorials, the Albert Einstein Memorial was a welcome change. It is located across from the National Mall and it's location is shaded and very serene. My daughter and I enjoyed seeing this memorial and as we looked at the large bronze statue, we felt like we were the only ones with Mr. Einstein. This is also a great spot for some really nice photos.

Cool memorial. Not best of all memorials. Einstein was a great guy, and keeping America alive. But still a great one.
