We had an excellent meal - sat in front of the kitchen and enjoyed watching all the preparations. Highly recommended!

Great food and atmosphere. Very lively and popular. It was worth the wait for a table.

“Another Amazing Meal”
Reviewed February 21, 2012

This was my second time at Estadio, and loved it even more than the first time. The wine/drink list is great, they even somehow get Deschuttes Brewery beer, which I can't find anywhere in DC. The food is fantastic, my favorites this time were the brussel sprouts, the halibut, cheesecake, and the frozen custard. But really, anything I've had there is wonderful.

Great atmosphere, great service, the only obvious problem is that you'll end up waiting a while on weekend nights. My girlfriend and I got there at 6:30pm on a Friday and waited about 45 minutes for a table. That was manageable, but I hear it can get much worse.

“excellent tapas”
Reviewed February 18, 2012

Everything we ate here was delicious, and the prices are typical for tapas yet pretty good deals for the more expensive dishes. The waitress suggested the asparagus, which was a good call; we most enjoyed the cheese tray/tasting (3 selections of our choice); the pork tenderloin (a meal-sized cut of meat); and the extensive adult beverages menu. I didn't splurge for the $66 glass of cider, but I almost mistook the numbers to the right of the descriptions as something other than price...We spent $150 for three of us to eat here including tip, but found nothing that wasn't worth the expenditure. Of final note, the waitress even slowed us down when we started ordering too much -- nothing beats great customer service! Reservations are not required, but certainly helpful...

“Genuine Spanish food”
Reviewed February 16, 2012

Estadio has fantastic Spanish food. Apparently the chef traveled around Spain and cherry-picked his favorites recipes from around the country. The result: scrumptous authentic food!! Yummy toasted bread with tomato spread, machnego cheese and jamon serrano. I usually don't order squid or octupus but they have grilled it to pefection here!! If you think potatoes are boring the batatas bravas will change your mind. With all this yummy food you're bound to get thirsty. The white sangria will not disappoint you!! If you're trying to decide between Estadio and a chain restaurant starting with "J", there is no competition. Estadio is SO MUCH BETTER!!
