I wasn't staying in Hostels for long time.
I chose Duo cause of good reviews and affordable prices.
Took it because of great location according to Washington main attractions.
Came here just for one night to hang out around the city and wasn't dissapointed.

Great well informed stuff who made me feel this stay even more like at home.
Great shoseless idea. That's why place is so clean.
Great WI-FI connection.
Clean and well prepared bathrooms and restrooms.
Well equiped kitchen.
Spacious terras where you can chillout after heavy sightseeing.

There is everything you could expect from good Hostel.

Strongly recommended place to stay in Washington DC

This is the cleanest hostel I have stayed in and most of the staff is super friendly. There is a great sense of community in the hostel and the people are knowledgeable on things to do. The hostel was the so clean. There are no shoes allowed and the staff are very good about cleaning etc. The showers were great though it is clear so dont be modest. Beds are super comfortable. No shoes in side but you would feel comfortable eating off these floor. Nice amenities with rooftop deck and a lot of common space. Also clean kitchen. Few complaints. Not enough toilets or mirrors and the location is not the prime location in DC. Though it advertises being near gallery place it is a 5-6 block walk in not a dangerous area but also not the best area. It is not really near anything except the metro but its a random stop. There are hostels with better locations but none are this livable. It also kinda sucks that you can stay for a limited amount of time ( 14 days a year) given you could tour DC for months or want to come back after going other places etc

The place is amazing. Comfortable beds. nice common rooms, free breakfast, a roof deck with barbecues every sunday, and the managers are very very cool guys. I will recommend this place every time!! I have an extraodinary time there. It felt like been at home.
