I take all my visitors here-- this place has something for everyone. I especially like the exhibit about how we use plants in our everyday lives. But you could just walk through it and never read a sign and still enjoy it. It is beautiful and well cared for. Two warnings though: It does close early--at 5 and they start kicking people out at about ten till 5. Also, the conservatory can get a little crowded on the weekends and because the walkways are a little narrow, you really feel the crowds. Weekdays are much nicer (and the surrounding gardens never feel too full even on the weekends).
