Embassy Row is full of gorgeous buildings. It can be a long walk though to see many, so for tourists I would recommend taking the N2 or N4 bus in Dupont Circle all the way to the National Cathedral, this way you can see many of the buildings in Embassy Row and visit the magnificent Cathedral too.

Perfect for a stroll, and great to see during Embassy week, usually in May.

These are some of the nicest structures in Washington, DC. It seems each country tries to out do each other.

Our recent stay at Embassy Row was great.
Number one here is convenience. Just a block off DuPont Circle, it's location provides easy walking to dozens of restaurants, shops, and bars - as well as half a block walk to the Metro station.
Our room - with two double beds - was on the smaller side but well equipped and comfortable.
A few notes - ice machines are not offered on every floor - we had to take the elevator down one floor to a very smelly smoking floor. You are also charged an extra $35 plus taxes to park your car over night.
On the other hand, a complimentary breakfast is provided - bagels, pastries, granola, and fruit - enough to get you going.
Our recent stay was our first - but I can't see any reasons why it wouldn't be a regular stop for future visits to DC.

I loved the great houses and all the green on this walk.
I would not plan a trip JUST to go there but if you are in the area it's
great for a stroll :)
