“Worth a Stop”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

Whether you just want to see the building or go to an event it is worth it to see the Kennedy Centre. We went to Shear Madness and ate at KC Cafe (the Terrace was closed for a private event). Was a great way to spend an evening in Washington.

“Loved it!”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

The beautiful building of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is not to be missed. There are several theaters in the building. On any given night, you can see operas, symphony performances, NY type shows and attend lectures. There is a lot going on here and most of it is extremely well done. Depending on your budget, choose something that you like and find seats in a price range that doesn't cause bankruptcy to the family. The interior of the building is very elegant. There is a gift shop and it, too, has things in all price ranges.

The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is situated overlooking the Potomac River and the view from the upstairs is superb.

“Nice Venue”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

I had an opportunity to see Million Dollar Quartet on October 5, 2013 at the Kennedy Center. It's a nice venue with great opportunities to view D.C. and some of the monuments. Parking is pricey. There are two dining options in the Kennedy Center. The cafeteria is not very impressive and is expensive so eat before you arrive.

“Free Concerts!”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

The Kennedy Center gives free, mini-concerts out in the halls. So, if you aren't wanting to pay for an actual Main Hall performance (which are also fantastic), you can catch a small performance outside the concert hall doors.
