“Consistently good all around”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

We ate at Asian Spice yesterday and were thrilled with the patient service our family with young children received. We usually eat there on a weekend during mid-day - and it has never been very crowded - perfect for us! We sat in a beautiful window booth overlooking their outdoor seating. The server was attentive and patient, and continued to come back and forth with food for our (apparently) starving children. The sushi was very fresh, super cold and beautifully presented. We had a noodle dish that was yummy, and the dumplings were perfect! We will return again and again!

“Great when matchbox is full”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

I ate here quite a few times when the Matchbox wait was too long. We always had good service, good drinks, and good food. It was priced at about $40/person with an appetizer and drinks. Great fusion food.

“Nice time”
Reviewed August 5, 2012 via mobile

We came to the restaurant by lucky chance. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, but not irritatingly so. Staff is very courteous and friendly. The food was excellent. The portions are somewhat big, but we shared 3 dishes between 5 of us. In general we had very good time.

“Good food but service was ok”
Reviewed July 9, 2012 via mobile

Food was pretty good. Crab cakes were not what we had hoped for on the east coast but everything else was great. Try the blue cheese wasabi crab rangoon ... yummo! Great beer selection.

“Trendy but gourmet”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Asian Spice is in a great spot near the Verizon Center in DC. That being said, stop in for pre or post event. Or lunch the next day as we did. We tried the crispy spicy eggplant which was beautiful to look at but near perfect to taste. We also ordered refugee noodles, roast pork noodles, and fresh spring rolls. All was delicious with the roast pork being the least favorite. Drinks arrived promptly and our server was great. We will keep Asian Spice on our return list!
