“Avoid if you can”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

Had a very bad experience with service .. Waitress was very goofy. Ordered a bottle of merlot, brought the Pinot noir. En when she opened she was reaching across the table and spilled all over my husbands hand. Then spilled more as she was pouring my glass.. No offer to clean up or even move closer to pour mine after spilling the first glass. ( also noticed of our bill after we left that they charged us for the bottle of Pinot and not the merlot $5 more). She was very slow in taking our order and we had some food restrictions which she kept saying she understood, but then made a joke about.. It really is easy to kill someone( a member of the party had severe food allergies). We wanted to speak to the chef but she came back and said no. He understood what to do. The manager finally came, again said the chef could not come out...find out that the chef does not speak English and they would translate the food restrictions. At this point the member of our party left and went back to the hotel room. Our waitress never showed her face again, we stayed , another server picked up our table when he saw us sitting there. Food was mediocre and honestly if we had not had the wine opened and been so tired we all would have left. The other server should be fired.

“Not bad, not great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2013

Had a friendly business lunch here. Nice decor in trendy area off M Street. Service was good. Nice selection of vegetarian menu items.

Caesar salad was decent and I had fried shrimp on spinach salad. Not a large dish but good size for lunch. Overall food was okay. I'd eat here again.

“Not Worthy”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

Went to this place for a hosted birthday party for a friend ( we all paid our fair share ).
It was on a Saturday and it was dead. The food served was not good ... Costco food is better. It was chips, salsa, hummus, pita bread and wings. The main course was fine ... Nothing special at all. It was not worth what they charged us. Wait staff was very friendly and the service was good.

The dish is relative small than most restaurant. It was the first time that I was not full after taking the American breakfast

“Very nice service and good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2013

We ate at the restaurant mainly because we were staying at the St. Gregory Hotel and didn't feel like going far to dine on a cold night ! We were pleasantly surprised as the food was very good and the service, excellent. All in all a very pleasant place to dine. Breakfast and dinner both were very good.
