We heard great things about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We ate in, but most of their business seemed to be carry out. The food was excellent. It appears to be a local favorite and we can understand why.

Near Logan Circle, close to The District HOtel. My grandson and I stopped here after a long day of walking around DC. He had Orange Chicken, I had General Tso's Chicken. He thought his was perfect, a little tangy a little sweet. Mine was also good, with just the right amount of spice. I will go back next time I am in DC

If your idea of Chinese cuisine is Sesame Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein, any place will do for you. However, if you want REAL Szechuan food, this is a hidden gem. Be forewarned, real Szechuan is spicy. The place was busy on a Monday night. The waitress was friendly but very busy. Try the double-cooked pork or the black bean fish!

Went there with a couple of friends, and we ordered a variety of dishes (soup, ribs, sweet and sour chicken, black bean beef, sticky beef) - and it all tasted exactly the same. It was nice enough, and certainly edible, but wouldn't be returning!

We LOVE this place. It is all about the ma-la menu though! Their regular menu is good, in a traditional American Chinese sense --- but the mala menu (very spicy) is what it is all about!

Delivery is fast, staff is super-friendly and helpful and food is delivered HOT!!

Eating in: It's a simple eating establishment, nothing fancy - there are a few tables and the service is very friendly and prompt.

Recommended Dishes: Boiled Beef, Ma-la wontons, Ma-la chicken and veggies, Dan Dan noodles.

Make sure to order some of their fabulous bok choy as a side!
