This is the Sunday spot to be. They offer a fresh and lively menu with great selections. There is also a meal for two. 2 coffees, 2 entrees and a pitcher of Bloody Mary or mimosa. Originally we though no that's too much. We ordered 1 drink each and a meal came out to almost the same price. Consider the deal.

We sat on the patio because the weather was beautiful. But the inside was super neat. There were comfy family room chairs with little table inserts that people lounged and ate. The waitstaff was cheery and super nice. Dogs welcome!

We got the omelette platter which just the perfect amount of food for a hungry person. The sausage was a little dense with almost a vegan/tofu texture. The breakfast tacos were amazing but the tortillas fell apart easily. I used the Bibb lettuce that was a garnish which made an amazing lettuce wrap. I think I will attempt these at home. Should be considered as an option.

1st night in DC and decided to have dinner at the Commissary with my teen & tween. My daughter has celiac but they had gluten free choices & desert - that was a pleasant surprise. All of us had a delish meal and we are going back tomorrow (day 3 of our trip) for breakfast - gluten free pancakes :-)

I found this restaurant here on Trip Advisor and it certainly did not disappoint! The casual environment makes it easy to dine with families. The menu is extensive- from truffled popcorn to mussels! The service was fantastic. Highly recommend this casual dining experience!

It's an open floor plan restaurant decorated and lit to appeal to the social crowd (you won't go here to read a book). The seating varies, giving it a slight 'great-room' feel. Tasteful and comfortable.

It was easy to find something I liked on the menu. Substitutions are made without fuss. The food was good.

The waitstaff who served our table knew the menu and convincingly recommended selections.
