I'd been to the Reflecting Pool Lincoln Memorial several times but didn't even know the Korean War Memorial existed - and it was so close! We noticed there were some statues so we strolled over and were so impressed and moved to see all the lifelike statues of soldiers in the jungle along with a wall of holograms that was fascinating to look at. One end of the monument contained some statistics about the Korean War, including the number of soldiers killed, wounded, and captured, both for the U.S. and the United Nations.
