Owner description: Memorial to the women who served during the Vietnam War.

Strength and compassion. This is an important memorial and I wish it got more notice, but like the women it honors, it stands off by itself, a bit off the beaten path, quietly doing what has to be done.

This was a late addition to the Vietnam Memorial, which did not go far enough in recognizing the contributions of the women in war. It is a haunting statue and a reminder of the harsh reality of war.

I didn't know about this memorial until I walked by it. It stopped me in my tracks. Really beautiful.

Probably took a long time for women in the front lines to be honoured but it has happened and this is a great monument to all those women who served in war zones.

It's quite a largish monument, larger than actually size anyway and situated in a picturesque park and not far from the smother war monuments, ie Korea, and Vietnam

A long overdue tribute to the brave women who not only served in Viet Nam, but in all wars. The expressions on their faces says it all. Just a wonderful sculpture. Look for it as it's easy to miss. You almost come upon it by accident.
