“Nice, a little outdated”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

We stopped by on a hot summer day over 4th of July weekend, this was probably not the best time to come......it was beyond crowded which may have tainted my experience a bit. There is in fact a lot to see but the exhibits look old and tired; yes, I realize that most of what's here is "historical" in nature but I am referring to the signs, railings, other pieces of the structure. When I compare this to the other Smithsonian museums, it seems to be the most in need of a touch up. I will come back again during a less crowded time.

“Really cool!!”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

Save a good amount of time to go there. It is really nice! Also, try not to go on a time that it is full, because there are many nice things to interact to and when it's full it is harder... I would guess that going early in the morning would be a better choice if you are into air and space things. Finally, don't miss touching a moon stone :)

“An extensive collection but too much in one space”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

The sheer scale of the number of objects in the Air and Space museum is impressive however I felt that this was also a negative which so much crammed into each hall it was difficult to interpret individual items.

“Never enough time!”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

We loved the Air and Space Museum. My husband is a history/air/space nut, and he likes to make sure he takes in every nook and cranny. However, on this visit, they closed early for a special event, so be sure to check online for any unusual closing times, or ask when you go in. Plan a couple of hours for any Smithsonian Museum you visit.

“Just what you expected”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

This is a wonderful place to visit with or without children. My family (wife + 14 year old son) and I really had a fun time. Even though we visited during the off season and during the week be prepared for lots of people also visiting when you're there. I can only imagine what it's like during the summer. I can see where the experience wouldn't be nearly as much fun then. Everything there is pretty much a highlight by the way. Everywhere you turn there's something interesting to see.
