“So much to see, so little time!”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

We only spent two hours here and could easily have spent 4-6 hours. If you are an aviation nut, make sure to allot plenty of time. The exhibits are incredibly well -done and will appeal to a wide range of ages. There are exhibits specifically aimed at younger children, but we enjoyed these as well. All of the scientific concepts are explained in simple terms--you will walk out feeling like an expert. The museum is free with IMAX movies offered for an additional fee. We visited on President's Day weekend, on a Saturday, and the museum was busy but not overly crowded.

“Air related”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

It has products and models of air spaceships and airplanes in all time from Wright brothers to Apollo.

Kids are more enthusiastic about this museums rather than adults. I was under the impression that spaceships are not real! Unfortunately, there was no tour leader in this area.

There is a McDonald restaurant in this building but this is a crowded museums in DC!

There was no wifi in this building.

“Brilliant Museum”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

A fantastic museum to visit if you are in Washington with every sort of aircraft and spacecraft that every little boy (and big) will love. The museum is set up with different periods in time from the first aircraft to the moon landings.I would have gladly paid a fortune to go in and see the exhibits but its all free so just make sure you go and you will not be disappointed.

“Over Rated”

Seemed outdated and tacky. We're not huge fans of airplanes but I think other museums were much better.
