“Udvar-Hazy: Best of the Air & Space Museums”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

While the Air & Space Museum in DC is a great treat and a must do while in the city, take a little trip out to the Air & Space Museum at Dulles Airport for an unforgettable experience. We have been to this museum countless times at this point and it never gets old. Real fighter jets, the SR71, the Discovery Space Shuttle, the Enola Gay and the Concord are only a handful of impressive aircraft on display. You can also take an elevator ride up to the top of a flight control tower and watch planes take off and land on a clear day. I was lucky enough to also host an office holiday party here in December of 2012. What a venue! Highly recommended for adults and children alike. They also have a gift shop and McDonalds on site.

“Great museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

My boyfriend is not a museum fan but he stepped inside the Air and Space Museum and his jaw dropped. He couldn't believe he was looking at the real thing - the Wright Bros plane, the Apollo rocket, the stealth planes, the drones. He wanted to watch every Imax film and we came back a second day.

“Very cool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

This is one place I wish I spent more time at. I took the free hour and half tour that hits the highlights. The tour was good and our guide was very knowledgeable. I was under a time constraint otherwise I would have gone and seen the exhibits that the tour didn't cover as it only goes to a few. Most of the planes are the originals which is very cool. I would definitely recommend this museum.

“A truly Fun Space.”

Take the free guided talk tour...we didn't know where to begin until then. Would have missed out on a lot of education and knowledge. Fun place for kids of all ages!
