Just spent 4 days roaming the National Mall and didn't even see 1/2 of what's there.
I was overwhelmed with all there was to see. The architecture, detail, precision and history was inspiring and sobering. At times it brought tears to my tears to my eyes, other times a smile and always gratefulness that I am an American.
It puts into perspective how great and intelligent our fore fathers were and it is sad at how much we have deviated from their plan at times. If more people would visit our nation's capital and can gain an insight to how this country started and the number of lives that paid the price of freedom for us, maybe it can help us get this country back on track and focus on our country as a whole and not individual needs.
I urge everyone to visit the National Mall, it may change your outlook on life and our country.
