“American Art”

A wonderful collection of American art. Get the acoustaguide for the feeling of a private tour. Restaurant is a little formal, but among the best in all of the museums.

There is so much to see and enjoy in The West Wing, because the Eaast Wing is now going through a major renovation. You will be thrilled by the Impressionist Collection, and many other aspects of the Gallery.

“A must-see”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This museum was near the top of my things to see list, and it didn't disappoint. In actuality it's two buildings (East and West) connected by and underground tunnel but the majority of the exhibits are in the West building.

I spent hours there and loved every minute of it...I don't think I skipped a single room. They have works by everyone from DaVinci - the only one in North America - to Ingres to Picasso. It can get a bit crowded in places but the museum is so big that you'll never lack for things to look at.
