You must be kidding ! One of the world's great museums.Have loved it
since in my earlier days when known as simply THE MELLON.Native
Washingtonians remember this.Also, THE EAST WING is a noble work of architecture and the fountain is exquisite. Restaurants, Ice Cream "stands" so-to-speak are fine and appreciated.. :

An exciting (and well curated) display of furniture and furnishing from colonial America. The marble and art is exceptional and not to be missed!

The East gallery is a magic IMPei Bldg with a Lichtenstein Exhibition that would blow your socks off...fab. The West gallery is old, but the spaces are superb and the courtyards magic. The collection of European art is unbelievable and best of all you get up close to it without crowds

It's one of the most beautiful museum I visited! There's a lot to see and I was pleased by the german and italian collections

My kids and I love this place. Very interesting historical exhibits. I can't wait to go here again when I visit DC. I would recommend this to anyone visit DC
