This museum with its sculpture garden is always fresh and delightful. Special exhibits are very well done. Don't miss it!

The National Mall was very crowded the day that we were there and we were looking for a place to rest for a few minutes and get away from the crowds. We stumbled on the garden here. It was nice to spend a few minutes looking at the sculptures. The sculptures may not be for everyone, but we all have our own tastes in art.

This is a small museum. It is modern art. It was interesting and I am sure if you go for modern art this would be a good museum. I liked the sculptures outside in the garden best.

Another free museum of the Smithsonian.

We did not go to the museum - only the outdoor sculpture garden. Some are very interesting to look at but others not particularly captivating. Overall the garden is very small and I have been to others that were more impressive. I'd say if you need a break then take a quick walk though, but don't go out of your way to go there.

Some really weird pieces in this exhibit -- I just don't get it. Set off alarm while looking over the top of a piece at floor level. Thank goodness it does not take much time and right next to many other free things to do.
