We only visited the Air and Space and Indian Museum during our vacation. Really enjoyed both.
The Air and Space had a lot of interesting aircrafts and history of space. The Indian Museum was interesting but needs more history
to fill their open spaces thru out the Museum.

We arrived late, about 4:30. We were able to take a few photos and use the restroom, but beyond that, you can't do much else. The garden was fine - not great. The security staff was a bit more surly than in other places. For us it was really just a photo op.

Very big with lots of things to look at or some you can touch. You can take lots of pictures & there was always clerks around to ask questions.

The gardens are beautiful and the staff were very informative. This castle was a must see for me (yes I am a bones fan) and worth a visit. Don't expect a tour being available as it's an information post rather than anything else.

On a recent trip to DC, my wife and I decided to diverge from the walk along the national mall and found some great garden areas to explore. We ended up here at “The Castle” and found it a great way to gather some info about the various museums. The collections here in this building were interesting.
